I am a 2014 graduate from Marist College with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Communication. I have worked for two professional sports teams, including the NHL’s New York Islanders. I transferred to Marist prior to my junior year after attending Hilbert College. The majority of my education at Marist College was spent editing videos, writing and editing articles, and completing many other assignments related to public relations/journalism/digital production. Extra-curricular time was spent training and practicing as a student-athlete, working on campus, and participating in multiple school programs. Some of my projects include television news packages, producing and anchoring “live” unaired television shows, and many articles. My capstone project was a 28-page concept magazine for Major League Ultimate, a professional frisbee league. I spent time with the New York team writing articles that have been published to their site.
Examples of these projects could be seen here in my portfolio.
